Alternative singer/songwriter whose music blends folk-inspired ambiance with indie textures and unique tunings. Sykes’ songs move seamlessly between themes of love, loss, and renewal, carried by a voice that balances vulnerability with quiet strength. Her debut EP “face to face”, released under Dusty Mars Records, is an uncompromising ode to highly relatable difficult lived experiences. Despite this being Sykes’ debut, she has already been featured on KEXP’s Staff, Volunteers, and Interns Top Albums of 2025.
Producer/Audio Engineer
After earning a diploma in Recording Arts from Studio West - San Diego’s premier commercial recording facility - Sykes began her career as an audio engineer and producer. She now operates a fully equipped home studio, where she records and produces projects for a wide range of clients.
